Melbourne/NYC Design Week, Events + Global Stockists
Art Book Fair, Reimagining The Clubhouse, 2V2 basketball. And an event in New York
Hi from Melbourne, where if you are following any sort of sporting calendar, it’s footy (AFL) season, and staying up late to watch the Giro season. Both we dabble in, but not serious enough to really know who is who.
This week, there are two design weeks happening. Melbourne and New York.
We are lucky to be involved in both. With panel talks, exhibitions, bookfairs and basketball comps.
If you are around and about in either city, come down and get involved.
Sport, Style and Influence panel talk.
Presented by DesignStudio as part of NYCxDesign Festival.
Thursday May 15th, 2025, 6-7:30pm.
As fast-growing sports like women's basketball and men’s soccer surge in popularity, Sport, Style & Influence will explore the role of brand, storytelling, design and the cult of personality in driving this cultural momentum.
Bringing together voices from across the sports world, our panel will discuss how athletes, leagues, and creative collaborators are redefining what it means to build a modern sports brand.
The panel will be be hosted by DesignStudio and will include:
Erynn Hughes, Creative Strategist at Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA)
Roman King, Creative Director at Major League Soccer (MLS)
Tucker Hughes, Senior Director of Partnerships at Boardroom
Kate Veronneau, Director of Women's Strategy at Zwift
Richard Swain, Principal at DesignStudio (Moderator)
Melbourne Art Book Fair
We will be back at the book fair with Issues 04, 05 and 06 + some other goods.
